Fordham Family Picture Miracle!

I am so so very happy to be posting these pictures.  I thought they were gone.  I mean, they were gone!  I cried, I agonized, I was so mad, I was a mess really.  I had somehow deleted all of them from my camera.  When you know the work that goes into getting your family ready for pictures, rearranging schedules, getting hair done, bribing, and overall moral boosting, it was awful to have to tell carie that all 400 of the pictures we took were gone.  But guess what?  Carie wasn't really worried about it.  She said, "we'll just do it again next week" like as calmly as if she had lost a pair of socks.  Thank heavens for amazing friends.

BUT, thanks to another amazing friend who after listening to my freak out about losing the pictures, told me that you can retrieve pictures that you delete.  WWwwhAt?  She was right.  And we did.  And I have said many prayers of thanks.

Valentine Family

You know that family that is beautiful on the inside and the out?? Well I know a lot of those families, but these guys make the top of that list! I am so grateful to call them our friends (and if I have my choice, that zack will be my son-in-law one day!) ;)

We did a kid swap with these guys last year.  While I was editing pictures, Cali came in and said, "HEY, we lived with them for 3 days once and it was really fun!"  It was really fun.

We had some not-so-good weather, but I don't think it really mattered much. The pictures turned out beautiful. It just might have something to do with this beautiful family!! Thank you Valentine Family!

Mandi & Isaac

I am nervous every time I do pictures and especially for a friend. It was really fun and easy to do pictures for Mandi! Her cute little son (who is not so little) is friends with Rian and turning into such a handsome young man... yikes!

I love the colors they wore and we had beautiful light. And, hello, Mandi is beautiful so the pictures are awesome!

dakota's senior pictures

I think this is my first senior photo session (i have a bad memory so I can't be 100% sure). Dakota is so cute and taking pictures of one cute boy is so fun. Oh and his guitar is so super cool!!  My senior year doesn't seem like it was that long ago (uhhhm 1994, yikes!) but now I am the old lady taking seniors pictures. wow!

Dakota's mom brought him all the way from Grand Junction so I really wanted to make it fun for them and worth the drive. I had fun and I hope they did too!
