Jason & Melissa

I had the privilege of taking Jason & Melissa's engagement pictures this weekend. Honestly, we had pretty crappy weather, but that didn't stop the love!!

I love Melissa. 

She is a remarkable woman and I'm not going to lie, I did get teary eyed a few time doing these pictures.  These two are in love and I am so so happy for them. 

Thank you both so much for letting me be a small part of your BIG day!!

Senior pictures

Have you ever had a senior portrait session scheduled on a Wed. evening with a kid you haven't met before.

And you show up early and scout out a few new spots to take pictures and the boy shows up and he is cute and you know you are going to get some great pictures.

And as you see the pictures you are taking on your camera your feeling is confirmed, the pictures are going to be good.

And then you start editing in the morning and you don't realize what time it is until your daughter comes in and says her tummy is growling and it's time for lunch and to get the bus to preschool. 

Then you realize you have edited the whole set of pictures and they were so easy to edit because they barely needed any editing at all. 

And now you can make a cd for his mom the very next day and she is going to be so excited!

And hopefully love the pictures as much as you do.

Well, that happened to me.

Even though we had a really hard time getting this little man to smile, he is still so cute!  Especially those monkey lips. 

And such a good sport having his pictures taken.

With 2 beautiful older sisters, I think he has learned to go with the flow.
